STEPS TO SUBMIT YOUR WORK
  • Create or Log in to your 'Young Creator' account
  • Carefully read this Creative Brief, review the LEGO® group Official Rules and Rules & Regulations for Untitled, and curate your submission
  • When you're ready, click 'Submit' above to upload your submission and your signed Permission Agreement and your completed Prompt Worksheet (in Materials Folder):
    • Videos: Upload your submission as an .mp4 or .mov video file
    • Pictures: Upload your main image (.jpeg, .png) to the main uploader, include additional picture(s) in the provided powerpoint/keynote template found in the materials folder and export as a PDF for submission in the appropriate field
  • When the brief closes, the LEGO Group judging committee will review all complete submissions and choose the Kid Creative Director
Intro

The LEGO® Group is looking for the first-ever Kid Creative Director for the Kids Creative Studio, inspired by LEGO VIDIYO!

Submit a video or pictures (photos, drawings, etc.) telling us about yourself, how you unleash your creativity, and what you know (or love) about the LEGO brand. You’ll have the chance to win $10K in value for creative and educational purposes. As Kid Creative Director of the Kids Creative Studio, you will have the unique opportunity to join a team of renowned creative kids, mentored by leading creative professionals from the LEGO Group. Together, you will come up with, create and launch LEGO content, promos and music videos with LEGO VIDIYO™ for the world to see.

We are seeking a unique kid with a passion for creativity. What inspires you? We believe creativity has no bounds and want to see it in all forms.

Prompts

  1. Your first name or nickname ONLY.
  2. What makes you creative? Do you have a special talent, a unique hobby or natural gift?
    • (ex. Special drawing/painting, original music or poetry, personal achievements or community work, etc.)
  3. How does your creativity make you a good fit for the Kid Creative Director role?
  4. When you hear “LEGO bricks or sets”, what is the first thing that comes to mind?
Do's
  • Submit your entry as a video or as pictures:
    • Video: 1-2 minutes max
    • Pictures: Upload your main image (.jpeg, .png) to the main uploader, include additional picture(s) in the provided powerpoint/keynote template found in the materials folder and export as a PDF for submission in the appropriate field
  • Include your answers to ALL of these prompts in your submission (REQUIRED)
  • Show off or describe your creative talent/skill

  • Share why you are interested in becoming the first ever Kid Creative Director
  • Get as creative as you want with your video/still image submission
  • Submit original work only that has not been previously published or submitted in any form
  • All Submissions must be in English
Don'ts
  • Share personal information in the submission beyond first name (including address, age, location, etc.)
  • Show any visible logos or recognizable branding
  • The Submission must not contain material that violates or infringes another’s rights, including without limitation, privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights infringement;
  • The Submission must not disparage the LEGO group or any other person or party affiliated with the Contest;
  • The Submission must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libelous;
  • The Submission must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age; and
  • The Submission must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations in any state or province where Submission is created.

Opportunity

One (1) Selected Creator
will be chosen by LEGO Group, and:
  • May have their work and submission shared across LEGO Group social, digital and wider marketing channels
  • May participate in media interviews on selection as the first Kid Creative Director for Kids Creative Studio. Mentored by creative professionals from the LEGO Group, the Selected Creator will also participate in brainstorms and creative workshops with Kids Creative Studio team members to produce and launch LEGO branded content, along with music videos, for external purposes and social channels.
  • Receive $10K in value to put toward creative and educational endeavors in their parent’s name (at the discretion of the company).

Additionally up to five (5) Finalists
may be chosen and may have their work shared across LEGO social digital channels, external content and in media coverage and receive select products/merch (at the company’s discretion)

How will the LEGO Group choose?

A Potential Winner will be picked by a panel of Kids Creative Studio team members, the LEGO Group marketing team and/or creative agency, and select external partners with expertise in creative marketing initiatives based on the Entry Guidelines and Content Restrictions.

Your submission will be judged by these guidelines:

  • Creativity (65%) – ability to reflect an innovative or interesting approach within the submission.
  • Originality/Playfulness (30%) – Fresh, playful and entertaining idea of concept.
  • Presentation (5%) – submission is of quality and clearly showcases the idea of concept in an easy to follow and organized way.

Guidelines
  • Who can submit? US residents only, aged 7-17 with a Young Creator account with a Parent/Legal Guardian’s signed permission agreement.

  • What should my submission include? (Download Materials Folder Here)

  • Please respond to emails from the Untitled team (hello@untitledbytlnt.com) within 72 hours. If we don't hear back from you or your Parent/Legal Guardian, you will forfeit the incentive detailed in 'The Opportunity'.

  • Submissions on Untitled will not be visible to the public or to the Untitled Community. Untitled may remove any inappropriate, offensive and harmful submissions from the Untitled platform.

SUMMARY FOR PARENTS & GUARDIANS
  • Submissions must include: your child's design and the Permission Agreement signed by a parent/legal guardian. You can either print and sign the agreement, uploading it as a photograph or scan. Or if you do not have access to a printer you can visit a free pdf editor online, sign the agreement there and save it as a pdf before uploading it to our website.




  • If your child is chosen as a Selected Creator, Untitled will email the Young Creator or the parent/legal guardian to notify them and arrange prize fulfillment.
