Who are the D&T Association?

The D&T Association is the UK’s expert authority for design and technology education. With over 20,000 members, they develop and promote high-quality design and technology teaching and learning as an essential part of the rounded education of all young people. They link schools and students with the world of business, manufacturing and industry and lobby government and key decision-makers to ensure that the subject’s value is duly recognised and supported.

Blueprint 1000 is the Association’s flagship programme aimed at joining the worlds of business and industry with education. Blueprint 1000 membership enables companies to make strong, purposeful connections with local schools and through active engagement with Blueprint Events enables companies to showcase their company and available opportunities to young people.

Untitled has partnered with the UK's expert authority for design and technology, as they believe that there should be the opportunity for all students, across all abilities, to study high quality D&T as part of a broad and creative curriculum up to the age of 18.

Our partnership allows schools and students to connect with live briefs set by nationally and internationally known brands, providing contextualised learning and industry insight.

After travelling around the world, Anne discovered that her passion was for DT and started her journey by gaining her PGCE which led onto an incredible adventure.

Jonathan Walker

Jonathan previously worked in construction and played professional sport before finding his passion in Design & Technology and becoming a teacher.

Louise Glover

Having taught at Emmanuel College for 10 years, Louise found a keen interest in Design & Technology as well as Food & Electronics.

Michael Noonan

Michael has a passion for Design & Technology and has developed a fascination for 3D Printing, Robotics and Independent Student-led learning.

Carolyne Anderson

Carolyn has over 10 years of experience teaching D&T and loves teaching a subject that relates directly to the real world.

Matt James

Matt James is an award-winning Design Technology teacher in Wales, with a passion for developing new teaching resources and providing other departments curriculum development support.

Suzi Lombardelli

Suzi puts her design experience into practice teaching all material areas to KS3 and is most passionate about is teaching young people the design process.

Safinah Hassan

Safinah Hassan became a teacher 14 years ago because of her ethos to inspire and raise aspirations of young people. As well as teaching students aged 11-18, she is part of STEM and co-curricular activities.
